just my opinion i would close the curtains i think windows would mess things up cause you dont want to get stuff reflecting off the windows and i would cover all shiny objects

What? A human that can play with spirits as with puppets? You cant control the spirits if they dont want to. I dont think you know too much about spirits.

well it might be scary if demon attacks you, but living human are much more dangerous than the dead one. I can asure you i know how scary the contact with poltergheist is and you should not joke with them, but the familiar spirits thats living in my house are very friendly.

I had this in previous investigations, If you pick up similer sounding “help me” each time then it is a repeating spirit, this means they do the same thing every night and there is nothing that can be done to help, the cycle cannot be broken, they are simply re-living a part of their life over and over. if you havnt already, use your EVP device to talk to the spirit by asking questions and giving time for a reply. (best done with questions already written that do not need answers to procede)

i dont understand some people that find ghosts scary and evil. I mean ghosts are real, but they do nothing bad if you communicate with them and act nicely. I have a ghost in my house and it seems to be realy friendly, sometimes he even helps me with something. Ghosts are useful if you treat them good and nicely.
