Hard to tell. They made a few albums that were very commercial. In fact, they were the first band I ever liked, back when I was 11. My ex-girlfriend, who liked pop and stuff, turned me onto them. Pretty much every girl at my school knows who they are. Yet, their new album is awesome. Listen to “Does The Lion City Still Roar?” Very ska.

No problem, I just put up bands I like.

Man, at age 11 people listened to ska? No one in my school even knows what ska is, or any punk bands except the ramones. Every girl in my school listens to beyonce, paramore, chris brown, and britanny spears. Your lucky your school has better taste. My first favorite band was queen. And my first present day was My Chem, which i don’t like anymore. Thanks I’ll give it a listen, but I think i’ve heard it before.

Nah, back then I wouldn’t even like this. But “The Rest Of My Life” and “Overrated” were my favorite songs back then. I moved on to mcr, then anti-flag. anti-flag basically introduced me into punk. No one in my school knows what ska is, they just listen to it. Although, I did recently find out that my friend (girl) is into ska and punk. other than that, my small group of friends are the only ones who like punk. Most of them have moved onto metal, though.

That’s awesome your girlfriend likes punk. The girl who likes me is a scene kid. I hate it. I don’t hang out in a group. I hang out seperately with single people in their own groups. Most of them either listening to grindcore, heavy metal, or stuff like Fall Out Boy/Linkin Park. Living in Los Angeles is stupid. All the radio stations play poppy music, except one radio station that plays System Of a Down, Rise Against, and tons of indie music called K-ROQ. Green Day got me into punk. And Nirvana.
