im a 16 (well im 16 august 1st) n im 6ft 1in..i way around 195-205..the only thing that really lowers my self esteem is my love handles and man boobs..im an active person i skate everyday i play ddr on standard depends on the song and i work out about everyother day doing 50 pushups in the night and 50 in th mornin..same with situps cept 75..i just wanna be able to be the guy to not be afraid of takin off his shirt when its hot or when he plays basket ball..can anyone help me?? please??

sit ups are for abs so they wont help at all with moobs, you have to do pushups.

Well, I went on a strict first (water only, salads, etc.), cause I heard if you do ‘just’ push-ups, you’ll end up just putting muscle under the fat. But, after that I started doing only push-ups (and staying on the diet) and had a satisfying ammount of reduction after a month or so.
I still kiiiiiind of have them (cause I started slacking on my diet), but it still looks more toned than it does boobified and overall I feel more confident with myself when I put on a shirt.

Most “experts” recommend incline bench presses and nix flat and decline. I disagree. Decline presses work the outer chest better than flat or incline which creates a wider, blocky chest. Flye and crossover movements also widen the chest by working the outer and inner portions. I’ve had the best results including decline and incline presses, as well as cable crossovers and the pec-dec.

Yeah, I’ve got the same problem. I’m 6’1” and 135 pounds. From a nutritionists standpoint, I’m underweight. I’ve been busting my ass lifting weights and doing cardio for about a year and a half now (I used to be 180 lbs). All the exercise and dietary changes (started eating like a bodybuilder on a cutting diet) got rid of 50 pounds of fat and reduced the size of my moobs (though it might have been hormonal changes as well), but I still have them. A set of abs+man boobs=fail. =/

What I did was first diet for a couple weeks (water only, salads, subway, etc), then started doing a lot of push-ups everyday. A week after that I wanted to stop since I didn’t see any results, but I continued anyway cause I figured at least they won’t get worse. Now, a few weeks after that I see substantial results. You just gotta dicipline yourself.

Hello. I’m a personal trainer here in London, UK, and I read your post with interest. I suggest you get into kettlebells. They’re a perfect combo of aerobic and weight training and are fun, great for your core, great for strengthening, sports, you name it. Just a suggestion

I’m 27. I still got them. But for the past 6 months i’ve have done a straight, strict work out program. It really is genetic. I got bulky and my chest got big but not like tits. I look at my dad and 2 brothers and they have smaller frames than me. But they also got man boobs. Working out does help. I can’t commit to an extreme work out. Best i can do is 4 times a week and 1 hour sessions. I will give it another year and see if i can improve more. But if not then i have to go to surgery.

stopduckhating, im 14 and i have moobs and a tiny bit of excess body fat i weigh like 130. my moobs are making me look much fatter than i am becuz im not fat. do you think its all part of peuberty and they will go away, or should i start lifting weights and doing situps and stuff like that? and lets say i lift a 15lb weights 50 times or so on each arm every night, and did 200 situps each morning and night, how long would you say it would take for them to go away?

mine were never bad i just got a little out of shape and started to get them so now i workout alot
