  2. ghost hunting gear Says:

when you see the orcs entering to gondor click pause and on the back you can see many easterling helmets

  3. Shadow Men Says:

serously?? you mean where gandalf says sometihng like “you are soldiers of gondor…whatever comes through that gate..etc. etc”???

    that part?

  4. Paranormal Video Says:

the easterlings appear in return of the king too, when the gate of minas tirith is destroyed when you see the orcs click pause, and you can see an easterling helmet on the back

  5. EVP Audio Recordings Says:

I thought the films could have shown more of the dark men’s forces…for example in the battle in pelannor fields…the main force in the film was orks and som harad…but i wanted to see hords of easterlings of rhun among the ranks..as well as men of far harad and khand…the books explain in detail and its staggering…the film did a great job..and it was an epic battle….more dunedain of arnor should have been shown as well alongside aragorn

    I can dream can’t I? 0.o

Someone at WETA managed to base the movie Easterlings on the Haradrim – they’re wearing the golden armour of the Southrons, and they even carry their black serpent banner! FATW is based on the written word of J.R.R. Tolkien, not what some overworked WETA designer mistakenly came up with.

  8. EVP Recordings Says:

I’m pretty sure they’re not. The Haradrim are from the southern lands of M.E. They were in Return of the king riding mumakil and shit. They kind of lok the same, so it’s easy to mix the two up I suppose

  9. Ghost Equipment Says:

    Wheren’t those from Harad?

  10. Shadow People Says:

Indeed you did. Perfect example, LOTR two towers, go to the scene where frodo and sam are at the black gate. Men marching = easterlings. ^_^

  11. Ghost Equipment Says:

You saw no easterlings in the movies.

  12. EVP Recording Says:

=( sadface. If you can remember from the two towers film, the men of rhun looked a little more fierce than these pansies. =/
