“There I was flat on my back on my back at 5000 feet and without an aeroplane! I dropped like a stone!”

The look on the Krauts faces at the end is priceless.

Commander McBragg sure lived up to his name. You’ve got to admit, he had a great gift of gab: “Took off at dawn…dawn patrol, don’t you know.”

I looked forward to watching this little cartoon short every morning before school around the period of the late 1970′s early 1980′s, fond memories.

I love when he’s flying through the air without the plane. I remember these cartoons during the Tennessee tuxedo and Chumley show.

These were a fantastic series of toons from back in the day. A tip of the hat to you!

Kenny Delmar based his “McBragg” voice on veteran character actor C. Aubrey Smith. In fact, the early episodes (including this one) had him sounding almost like Smith in his prime!
